"Rehab in Dance" Presentation at Valley Economic Alliance "Health X" Event

Wheelchair Dance Demonstration & Presentation at the Valley Economic Alliance "Health X" event. Very blessed to have performed in front of many health & medical professionals.

Dance has been used therapeutically for thousands of years. It has been used as a healing ritual in the influence of fertility, birth, sickness, and death since early human history.

Rehabilitation is defined as the "Act of restoring good health".  Health doesn't refer to only physical health.  It also refers to Psychological Health, Mental Health, Emotional Health, Spiritual Health, Social Health, etc.

Dance can be used at any stage of the rehabilitation process.  It improves fitness, coordination, fine motor skills, and confidence.  Dance makes rehab a holistic healing experience, stimulating all the senses, and brings fun to recovery.

At Infinite Flow - A Wheelchair Dance Company we promote dance as a supplement to any stage of rehabilitation and to improve the quality of life for individuals of all abilities.
